第76回都市対抗野球2日目
都市対抗2日目。
- 日産自動車（横須賀市） 7-0 TDK千曲川（佐久市）
- これで初出場は11連敗だとか。ひょっとすると、甲子園よりも初陣チームに厳しいのかもしれない。高校野球は3年で入れ替わるから、選手の経験値の差があまり生まれないのかな。地力の差もさることながら、やはり守備のミスで試合が決した感がある。それと、今大会は初回の先頭打者が良く打つなあ。
- ＮＴＴ西日本（大阪市） 4-3 三菱重工長崎（長崎市）
- これで3度目という初戦対決は、またもやNTT西日本に軍配。松下電器から補強の梶原が元プロの貫禄を見せ付ける2ランを放っての逆転勝ち。梶原って、将来のクリーンアップ候補なんて言われた時期もあったね。
- 七十七銀行（仙台市） 9-6 デュプロ（大阪市）
- 七十七銀行が土壇場の9回裏1死1塁から小町の起死回生の同点本塁打で追いつき、都市対抗史上初のタイブレークにも連れ込んだ熱戦。タイブレークに突入した14回表にデュプロが2点を取って勝負を決めたかと思いきや、その裏に七十七銀行が追いつくという、まさにシーソーゲーム。15回の表に再びデュプロが2点を挙げる。ところが、その裏七十七銀行が中島の走者一掃逆転サヨナラ3点2ベースを放つという、劇的な幕切れ。毎日のテキストライブでも手に汗握る展開。
※タイブレークとは、延長12回を経過して試合時間が4時間を超えた場合に、1死満塁から攻撃を始める方式。ぼちぼち試合を切り上げましょうという、言ってみればルノアールの昆布茶みたいなもの？
さて、いよいよ明日はシダックスが出陣。
