都市対抗東京都予選敗者復活3回戦
シダックス 5-1 JR東日本
オープン戦を含め、今季3連敗中という天敵JR東日本との対戦。先発は鈴木ということで、個人的な予想は外れる。ただし、制球難の鈴木を攻め、2回2死満塁というところで、早くも坂上が登板。あっさりとかわされたとの情報を知り、スポニチ大会決勝、東京都春季大会決勝に続いて3度目かとガッカリしていたところ、4回に藤澤の起死回生の2ランで逆転。続く徳山のソロ、藤澤の2打席連続HRの一発攻勢で突き放し、武田が鷺宮戦の汚名返上の完投で第2代表決定戦にコマを進めた。
都市対抗東京都第1代表決定戦
NTT東日本 2-1 鷺宮製作所
NTT東日本が都市対抗出場一番乗りを果たす。ということで、第2代表決定戦は再び鷺宮製作所対シダックスになる。
シダックスにとってはリターンマッチ。連敗は許されない。今日武田が完投したことで、明日の先発はおそらく、加納か森福だろう。中2日で、前回の対戦で結果的に4回3分の1を無失点に抑えた森福に期待が高まるが継投を考えたとき、先発加納で行けるところまで行って、森福にチェンジのほうが現実的にも思える。
さて、明日の第2代表戦であるが、負けると再びJR東日本との対戦になってしまう。しかも、JR東日本のほうが休養十分で迎え撃つため、苦戦が予想される。これが、東京都の変則トーナメントのなせる業。明日が雨で順延だと休養できるうえに、観戦できるようになる（明日は教育実習のダメ出し会）ので、ひそかに雨天順延を願っていたりする。
